The Panatron PXT848 telephone system has a maximum capacity of 8 CO (Central Office) lines and 48 extensions.

The TP848-416 variant of the system supports 4 CO lines and 16 extensions. This means it can handle up to 4 incoming phone lines from the telephone company and provide service to 16 individual extensions within an organization
